1Solutions understands that the solution which we deliver must satisfy our clients as well as our client’s customers. For best solution delivery we follow a strong business and analysis model.
Our project execution goes through the following phases:
- Initial consultation
- Initial Proposal and estimate
- Detailed specification document
- Review and acceptance
- Design concepts
- Development
- User acceptance testing and bug fixing
- Soft launch
- Support and maintenance
Initial consultation
Our first meeting is an exchange of information. It usually takes place by email, chat, conference call or phone and is free and without obligation. Prior to this initial meeting, we may ask that you fill out a Project Questionnaire that helps us understand your business (objectives, criteria, etc). We find this questionnaire to be useful for us as well as our clients, because it usually raises a number of issues that may not have been considered.
Initial Proposal and estimate
Once we receive your request for quotation, we will review any documents provided, review and referenced websites, and consult with you to obtain any additional information we may need to make an accurate quotation. Our analyst team will review your quotation request to make sure it contains all of the necessary information for us to assemble an intelligent, competitive quotation for your project.
Detailed specification document
Once we’re all on the same page and agreeing on timeline, cost estimate, and the scope of this phase of your project, we will create an Agreement and Scope of Work detailing the project and price.
Review and acceptance
If our proposal meets your approval and you select our company to develop your website, both parties will sign a work agreement.
Design concepts
Once we get the proposal approval from client side then we start working on the design phase. Based on the information we’ve exchanged during previous discussions and the materials we’ve gathered from you, page layout and visual design is started. The home page is designed first and sets the “look & feel” for the rest of your website/application. As we develop the initial drafts, we upload the design images to a private area online where you can view them. Based on your feedback, we will generate iteration and once again solicit your feedback. Once the Design and Navigational Structure is clear then we start working on the database (back end).
Development
Once the general concept and design of the project are agreed upon, we will start the development process – which includes using our agreed upon design as the basis for the rest of the website pages, laying in and formatting text content, making fine-tune adjustments to the navigation, and generating the code for any needed functionality and dynamic pages. Proper documentation and comments in the coding are included so that any programmer can modify the code in future and can incorporate in the systems.
User acceptance testing and bug fixing
Our testing approach involves Black Box Testing and White Box testing which will make sure that our software or applications must be delivered to our clients without any glitch. When design and testing is complete, we’ll inform you that your website/application is ready for viewing. This marks the beginning of the fine-tuning period. This is normally a two-week period in which we encourage our clients to review the website/application for minor adjustments and corrections.
Soft launch
When you’re satisfied with results from the fine-tuning period, the website is ready for launch. We will then upload the website to your hosting server where it is available to the public via your chosen domain(s). At this point, we will again test your website online for functionality and stability.
Support and maintenance
Once the project is complete, a life time support service is provided for any exigency situation. Only minor changes and debugging will be entertained during this phase.
For major amendments and continuous service support, you may need to sign for a support package with 1Solutions depending on the project requirements and deviation levels.
